If you are planning to win a debate competition, there are a lot of things that needs to be considered.  Speakaso is a great opportunity to get a full breakdown on key fundamentals and training to fine tune your debating skills.

While being in the academy you also get a chance to take part in debate competitions. We are all about giving you the strategies and mental toughness to come out as a championship level debater.

When one think's of debating,  they would imagine debating in a parliamentary setting. However, debating can exist as a far simpler and casual form of discussion as well.

(Recommended for 10 - 13 years)

Key fundamentals of a Good Debater

Subject Matter

Ability to define a clear structure and build substance in your argument

Formulating a clear structure to your debate requires you to stay focus on the topic, structure of debate, prepare effective points or rebuttal and see the path to make your argument standout. 

Delivery Strategy

Ability to send your ideas & rebuttal across effectively

A trained mind is a formidable force, by having good control over your eyes, confidence, body language, voice and expression are physical fundamentals to over power the competition.

Team Cohesion 

The bond between team members to link their points using multi faceted process

If you have seen team sports, every player has a unique set of skills and a well define role based on the idea of playing by the strength of each person all with one purpose in mind, the Win.
